Health and Safety Executives recently fined a Bristol contractor for not having enough toilet and wash facilities at one of it’s sites.  As they had failed to provide enough loo’s for their workers to “spend a penny”  - they got slammed with a £2k fine and ordered to pay in excess of £2k in costs!!   A lot of contractors think they can cut corners with stunts like this, it always comes back to bite them on the bum.  Look after your workers – they help you on the way up  but  if you don’t take care of them will just as equally kick you on the way back down.
